We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to help craft Obie’s story and lead content strategy for Obie’s website, blog, and all content marketing programs. This position requires outstanding marketing and communications skills with a proven ability to lead strategic positioning efforts, develop customer-centric content, marketing, and communications recommendations, and collaborate with a cross-functional team. This is both a strategic and tactical role that reports to the Head of Growth.

The Content Marketing Manager will:

• Create and implement a content marketing strategy that advances Obie’s marketing and business objectives
• Lead processes for content marketing productions, research, and write original content targeted at landlords and real estate investors
• Set a strategy for organic content distribution and promotion
• Manage PR and social media
• Measure, track, and report on content performance
• Partner with Product, Growth, and Insurance teams to discuss and set content strategy

Experience

• You have 3+ years of content marketing experience, ideally at an early-stage tech company. 
• You have working knowledge of the insurance/financial content space. 
• You are experienced using social media and various distribution channels to grow Obie’s readership.
• You have familiarity with Webflow

Skill & Abilities

• Excellent writing skills - you have demonstrated experience in web writing and content creation and can build a content strategy that targets the audiences and personas Obie cares about. 
• Content creation - you’ve owned the content creation process, can define content strategy, and are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders for content such as blog articles, email and web copy, and more.
• You have a working knowledge of SEO and SEM. 
• Highly analytical and data-driven - you are comfortable using data to set strategy, drive decisions, and measure impact. You use data to analyze and report on the effectiveness of content.
• You understand how content fits into the customer journey, and use customer insights to inform your decisions.
