About the job.
We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis to help us provide an excellent candidate experience as we continue to grow. This person will be super organized and comfortable assisting with the various steps of the recruiting process, including scheduling interviews, overseeing job postings, and preparing offer letters. This role is perfect for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are interested in helping hire top talent for a growing tech company.
How you'll spend your time at Tovala:

  • Coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers across various time zones while managing complex scheduling requirements
  • Post positions on a variety of sites such as LinkedIn, job boards, professional associations, universities, etc.
  • Generate offer letters and send onboarding documents
  • Send and track candidate assessments
  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates
  • Coordinate all candidate travel and expense reimbursement as needed
  • Recommend ways to improve the candidate experience and our overall recruiting process
  • Help implement, optimize and eventually maintain a brand new ATS
  • Support other recruiting-related administrative tasks and people team special projects as necessary

Requirements
About you.

  • Bachelors required, preferably in HR, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years' experience in a professional setting, preferably in recruitment or administration
  • Experience with scheduling and/or calendar management
  • You are incredibly organized and pay attention to details. You notice the little things and are quick to fix them!
  • You care about candidate experience - you build relationships with the candidates in the pipeline and make sure they have everything they need to be successful in their interviews.
  • You have a passion for people, communicate well, both verbally and in writing, and understand the importance of confidentiality
  • You can operate with a high level of autonomy and thrive when given the freedom and opportunity to solve problems
  • You can adapt to change quickly and, when faced with multiple priorities, you remain cool as a cucumber
  • You're interested in startups and excited to work in a fast-paced environment

Location

We have a large, open-plan office in the West Loop but we're a flexible, hybrid workplace so you can determine with your manager and team how often to come in.
