WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and implement innovative analytical solution using Hadoop, NoSQL and other Big Data related technologies, evaluating new features and architecture in Cloud/ on premise/ Hybrid solutions
  • Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions
  • Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups
  • Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing quality technical solution
  • Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
  • Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members and provide team with the tools and motivation
  • Write project documentation


REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS or Master's in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5+ years' experience as a DATA ENGINEER
  • Solid experience and background with Spark, Hadoop/Hive/Avro/Parquet
  • Experience developing data pipelines to load data from various sources
  • Writing frameworks which build pipelines using Scala and Python language
  • Distributed computing experience with Kafka SQL
  • Experience in deployment, maintenance, and administration tasks related to Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP or Private Cloud), OpenStack, Docker, Airflow, Nifi and Kubernetes
  • Spark and Kafka streaming, Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Cloud and how distributed computing works in cloud Azure Databricks and GCP


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Design and Architecture
  • Experience with web technologies like Angular 2+ (or React/Vue), TypeScript, RxJS
  • Experience in deployment, maintenance, and administration tasks related to Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP or Private Cloud), OpenStack, Docker, Kafka, Airflow, Nifi and Kubernetes

ADDITIONAL
