Job Description

Notified has an Associate Account Manager job opening. The Associate Account Manager be responsible for nurturing relationships and growing business with existing accounts within an assigned territory as well as manage the monthly revenue of the existing book of business in assigned accounts through up-sell and renewals. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the Notified portfolio through cross-sell of products in existing accounts.
Essential Duties:
• Manage the overall relationship with the assigned accounts
• Lead the sales process in renewals and up-sell opportunities
• Identify opportunities to grow the Notified portfolio of products in assigned accounts
• Locate the appropriate account buyer for renewal and up-sell opportunities
• Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for Notified's products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals
• Achieve assigned sales billing and quotas
• Monitor account satisfaction and identify customer problems; coordinate with Notified Customer Engagement to remedy situations
• Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
• Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Notified's value proposition
• Communicate value proposition to existing accounts
• Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
• Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field
Experience:
2 years of experience in a sales role or a relevant account management role
Preference will be given to candidates who possess digital media account management experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Required experience in managing account relationships, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
• Prior professional experience working with minimal supervision
• Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
• Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory, on short notice, as needed

Location

The office is located in River West, across the river from the Chicago Tribune and easily accessed by foot, bus or train. Our office is 7 floors, and Notified is on floors 5 and 6 making the views of the Chicago skyline picture-worthy. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance.
