Job Description The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Digital team at JPMorgan is well-positioned to disrupt the commercial real estate space. As we super-charge our growth, we are seeking a web developer to join our team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, publishing, and maintaining web pages and websites, including layout to functionality, according to stakeholder specifications and organizational standards. We strive to create visually appealing sites that feature modern user-friendly design, clear navigation, exciting content and follow the latest accessibility guidelines. You will be communicating with internal stakeholders to determine their needs and design preferences, coding the solution, and running tests to ensure functionality meets their approval. You are also expected to provide consulting and guidance pertaining to best practices for webpage design and development.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Leverage CMS templates to deliver best website experiences
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
  • Stay plugged into emerging trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-5+ years of website development and management experience. BS in computer science or a related field is preferred
  • Basic programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
  • Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, multitask, and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace with a bias towards action
