What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for supporting the internal customers, SharePoint application development, maintenance and support of the Alliant Credit Union SharePoint installation. The Sr. SharePoint Administrator will support and continuously improve Alliant’s SharePoint 2013 environments. The candidate will ensure the information and collaboration goals of Alliant Credit Union’s SharePoint system are initiated, completed and supported into the future. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing SharePoint technical leadership, design and deployment guidance as well as ongoing SharePoint application development and administration. Direction is received from the Manager, Applications Reliability Engineering.

Responsibilities: (90 %)
- Provide SharePoint end user support.
- Responsible for end-user account administration, permissions and access rights in accordance to governance.
- Develop end user training material and provide training to users with varying skill levels: end user, power user and admin level
- Maintain and enforce SharePoint governance policy
- Responsible for application and data integration from various sources into SharePoint.
- Develop documentation and wireframe diagrams for up-and-coming SharePoint pages or sites.
- Working collaboratively with the Internal Communications Manager, Design, build and deploy Alliant’s SharePoint Intranet site.
- Design, build and deploy comprehensive approved SharePoint Team and Project sites.
- Ensure that pro-active monitoring is in place for SharePoint Hardware and Software systems.
- Maintain and administer SharePoint services including enterprise search
- Review Microsoft SharePoint patch releases and apply SharePoint patches as required to ensure the stability and security of the application.
- Maintains currency with operating system and support software and when required, plans and implements major software upgrades to the SharePoint application.
- Ensures change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed
- Ensure that critical systems data is backed up and recoverable in the event of a disaster.
- Specify the quality assurance process that will ensure the overall quality and continual improvement of the SharePoint application enhancements
- Vendor Management, including development of statements of work, engagement and management of contractors, and monitoring of work against the SOW.
Strategy, Planning and Support: 10%
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2013.
- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows
- Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Where permitted by applicable law, successful applicants to this position must either have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered (proof of vaccination is required), or be willing to submit a negative COVID-19 test result in advance of each visit to an Alliant facility.
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of technical experience, and you have:
- Certification as SharePoint Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and SharePoint Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft IIS server and Microsoft IE browsers, Microsoft .Net, TCIP/IP Protocol, Network LAN/WAN Topologies, DNS protocol, client/server systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Applications, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, all Microsoft Office Applications, Microsoft Outlook Email, Microsoft User Administration, Security and Maintenance
- Demonstrated project management methodology knowledge, analytical troubleshooting and support skills
- Strong research, data collection and organization skills
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Previous experience working in a financial institution preferred
- Must be well organized, detail oriented with a strong customer focus
