DRW is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will champion the revitalization of our internal enterprise monitoring stack. You will dive deep into the current application, written in a combination of ruby, clojure, python, jruby, and javascript, and make recommendations for the future of the application. 

Responsibilities: 

• Meet with internal technical teams to determine usage patterns 
• Analyze current stack, and compare with popular third-party solutions (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Grafana Enterprise, Cortex, etc) 
• De-escalate risk by bringing the dependencies to the latest versions 
• Determine what functionality should remain, and what should be removed 

Position Requirements: 

• Experience designing and developing software with ruby, python, and javascript 
• Experience with clojure is a plus 
• Experience with third-party monitoring tools 
• Strong UNIX/Linux skills 
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks and projects, and efficiently handle pressure and stress
• Must be self-motivated, possess strong initiative, and be willing to take on new challenges
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to different work environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
