Under the direction of the Field HR team the HR Generalist supports the firm with general HR needs and inquiries while managing transactions related to the complete life cycle of an associate.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts new associate orientation and various training programs for the Talent and Culture Team.
- Provides advice, assistance, and follow-up regarding company guidelines, policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Creates and maintains documentation for various HR processes.
- Organizes and drives assigned projects, tracks progress, and provides status reporting and ongoing communication with team members.
- Partners with Leave Administration and performance coach to manage leave of absence (LOA) check-ins for the Field HR team.
- Provide initial review/analysis of Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA's)
- Supports the delivery of key HR processes such as:
- Engagement survey follow-up
- Exit interviews/surveys
- Onboarding surveys
- Collaborates with other HR functional teams on various initiatives and programs.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets HR related metrics for key strategic and operational decisions.
- Offboards associates and contractors, processes terminations, and communicates with appropriate departments to terminate access.
- Maintains up-to-date records and HR database administration as needed.
- Supports M&A work by conducting welcome meetings, handbook reviews, and taking census notes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- 1+ years of human resources experience
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
- Ability to work independently and assume responsibilities while recognizing when to ask for help
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and approach opportunities in a flexible and creative manner
- Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to hold a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness for completion of projects
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Occasional overnight travel required
