Product Control Analyst

As a Product Control Analyst at PEAK6, you'll be responsible for protecting the firm's assets. You will work closely with the back and middle office teams to ensure the firm's daily reporting of income & PNL is accurate. To be successful in the role you must be curious, adaptable, and love working with data. At PEAK6 no day is like the last. In this role you will have the ability to solve complex problems along with developing your technical and analytical toolkit.
You'll be responsible for:
- Validating the daily clearing files, trading records, and balances are accurate and concise across a variety of custodians and asset classes.
- Collaborating with technology, finance, middle-office, operations, risk, and trading teams to resolve issues, streamline and automate processes.
- Maintain and manage key control processes to improve accuracy and monitor firm risk.
- Maintain monthly dashboards reviewing breaks and fees for senior managers.
- Working with finance to supporting the annual financial audit.
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects and reporting across various businesses.
You'll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, banking, or accounting.
- Undergraduate Degree.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Basic proficiency in SQL. Python is nice to have.
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles a plus.
- Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.
