Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle and management of our partner platform (SDK, APIs, etc.) and security products.  The product manager will develop requirements, roadmaps and product strategy for platforms and services that drive significant profitability, scale, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals. Supported by market research, customer data and strong understanding of our industry’s ecosystem.
• Create a partner SDK or platform of APIs that enable partners to utilize unique data and services from Boingo networks to enhance their services such as asset tracking, people counting, security cameras, video analytics and location based services.
• Document and prioritize product specifications including customer and partner needs, internal requirements, capabilities, use cases, requirements, and budget. Distill business and product requirements into actionable items for the engineers to execute.
• Leading edge thinking is required. Leadership skills to influence others in a matrix organization and infuse them with a passion for the evolving products and services.
• Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Scrum Masters, Engineering, QA and Operations.
• Define, drive development, and manage total product offering including pricing models, customer support, management tools and budgets
• Lead, coordinate and communicate launch plans and post-launch activities with key stakeholders and assist with day-to-day operational support. Gather customer feedback to validate that the product meets stated metrics.
• Measure customer satisfaction and track revenue metrics to deliver optimizations based on results.

Professional Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience product management developing innovative, commercially scalable cloud and data-based services that drive efficiency and revenue
• Deep market, technical and business model understanding of Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, BLE, LTE, 5G and other wireless technologies is required
• Self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across a matrix reporting environment of engineers, marketers, sales, operations, and finance. You thrive on change and know how to get things done.
• Worked with engineering to drive delivery and adapt to technical constraints without comprising customer needs. Worked with Marketing to successfully launch programs.
• KPI focused - Identifies intended results and measures outcomes.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with stakeholders, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Highly collaborative. Builds trust & strong relationships at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
