About the Position
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be responsible for shaping the user experience of our mobile collaboration products with a global customer base. You'll collaborate with other designers, product managers, and engineers to help build captivating products that bring delight to our customers, are easy to use, and add value to our business. The ultimate Senior Product Designer has outstanding software design skills, understands how to work within a design process, has strong follow-through, and excels at communicating with a variety of people. You’ve shipped many consumer products over the years and understand what it takes to create engaging customer experiences. Previous mobile design experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to think through design problems and arrive at elegant, user-friendly solutions for iOS, Android and Web platforms
  • Create design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your features and deliver assets for development teams
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Product leadership to define your features and contribute to the overall direction of your product area
  • Work closely with development to ensure the successful execution of user interface designs and the preservation of the original design intent in the final product
  • Improve design proposals by validating ideas with user testing, usage metrics and measuring the success of our products against outcomes
  • Represent design leadership on assigned AGILE SCRUM teams and participate in sprint planning, grooming, sprint demos and retrospectives
  • Plan and conduct usability testing by creating clickable design prototypes and iterate based on the results
  • Present design proposals and usability test results to key stakeholders
  • Develop level-of-effort estimates for design projects and report on their progress
  • Support definition of a common visual language between marketing materials and software products

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an individual contributor role on a Product Design team for mobile, Web or desktop applications
  • An outstanding portfolio of design work that demonstrates strong examples of mobile app and web work
  • Strong aptitude for both giving and taking direction
  • A clean, polished style and an eye for detail
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
  • Ability to balance user needs, technology constraints, and business goals to create a useful, usable, and desirable product
  • Excellent interaction and user interface design skills, including creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features
  • Fluency in Sketch, Zeplin preferred
  • Working knowledge of other wireframing and prototyping tools a plus
  • Ability to thrive in an iterative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in front of a variety of audiences
