Two of Chicago's rapidly growing startups made Inc's 30 under 30 list, released today.

Online lending platform Avant was seventh on the list, coming off an incredible month of growth. They acquired San Francisco-based ReadyForZero as well as shortened their name from AvantCredit to simply Avant. The business has transformed the traditional personal loan process into a streamlined, customer-friendly experience and is quickly rolling out new products and hiring talent across the country.

Inc said of Avant, "Avant has developed a lending niche for customers with tarnished records, but who are still good risks."

E-commerce shoe company Bucketfeet also announced big news this month — opening its second brick and mortar in Wicker Park. The tech company that blends art and footwear has raised a total of $13.3 million to date and boosts Andy Dunn, Co-Founder/CEO of Bonobos as well as Brian Spaly, CEO of Trunk Club as investors.

Inc said of Bucketfeet, "A chance meeting between two travelers sparked the creation of Bucketfeet, a global shoe brand that gives artists a voice and consumers unique sneaks."
