Guaranteed Rate leverages technology to change how people buy homes. The company’s Digital Mortgage product takes the entire process of applying for a loan online, bringing approval times down to as little as 30 minutes.

Perks: On-site gym, game room, yoga and CrossFit classes as well as a nurse practitioner and a chef. In addition, Guaranteed Rate offers health and transportation benefits, a 401(k) match, and also has a huge roof deck.

A media intelligence provider with offices across the globe, Cision is hiring big on the sales side. The company’s software suite fuels communications workflows for everything from traditional press outreach to social media and government relations.

Snapsheet builds digital claims software for the auto insurance industry. The company recently raised a $20 million round to expand its team across departments.

Born out of the 2012 Obama for America data operation, Civis Analytics works with organizations to better utilize their data. Its cloud-based analytics platform is used by household brands like Airbnb and Discovery to understand their customers and audiences.

Perks: Civis offers ample vacation days, a 401(k), parental leave, commuter benefits, health coverage, and disability and life insurance. The company also regularly gets together for social events like birthday celebrations and an annual Halloween costume contest.

SwipeSense stems the spread of disease with smart hand hygiene systems for healthcare providers. In so doing, it helps hospitals save lives and reduce the costs associated with hospital-acquired infections.

Perks: SwipeSense recently moved into a brand new Ravenswood office and can tempt employees with company-subsidized healthcare insurance, autonomy and huge growth potential.
