Centerbridge invests in Chicago-based health insurance marketplace, GoHealth at reported unicorn valuation. GoHealth helps match people to a suitable health care program by allowing consumers and small businesses to “shop” on their site. The latest investment reportedly values GoHealth at $1.5 billion, according to Reuters. [Built In Chicago]

SpotHero just raised another $50 million. The Chicago parking technology startup will use the funding to invest in driverless car infrastructure. The past year has been a big one for SpotHero, which surpassed $500 million in all-time sales and is on track to hit $1 billion within the next year. [Built In Chicago]

VSCO is setting up shop in Chicago. The photography startup, headquartered in Oakland, California, chose Chicago after narrowing down its options from a list of 20 cities. VSCO said it chose Chicago for its mix of art galleries, community events and vibrant tech scene. Its West Loop office will be home to a team working on VSCO’s subscription services platform, and the company plans to host a range of art-centered community events, too. [Built In Chicago]

MxD launches a “Cybersecurity in Manufacturing” workforce development program. The company, which provides factories with the tools and technology they need to complete their job, will create curriculum and build labs in Waukegan High School, a Chicago-area school. Cameo announced a new chief marketing officer and general manager of international. Stefan Heinrich Henriquez takes on this role at the entertainment marketplace. He brings loads of experience from previous executive roles at media companies TikTok, Musical.ly and YouTube. [Press Release]

GPS tracker company, Jiobit, is bringing their technology to the U.S. Air Force. Jiobit started as a way for parents to track their kids through clothes, shoes or backpacks.
