Launch Of ShadowCare

March 8, 2012
Many of you received an announcement from me regarding the official launch of   Over the last 10 months, I have been working to develop a solution to address the nursing shortage crisis domestically and internationally.
My passion for healthcare was driven by my own personal experience dealing with the challenges of finding reliable and qualified nursing support for an aging family member.   At the time, I thought it would be as easy as picking up the phone, but was disappointed to learn how difficult it can be to find a qualified person I could trust to care for my loved one.
When you consider the number of people with chronic health problems and the rapidly aging population, it is easy to understand why ShadowCare can be an important resource for your family.  With this in mind, ShadowCare was designed to connect Registered Nurses with individuals or organizations who require nursing services for part-time assignments or full-time employment.  The nurses on ShadowCare have already been pre-screened and had background checks to ensure you are getting the best possible candidates.  Taking care of an ailing family member can be emotionally and physically draining.  ShadowCare can help lighten the load as a one-stop resource to identify nursing resources and help you in a time of need.
My team mastered the science and technology of connecting patients, providers and other non-healthcare professionals with qualified RNs through a website that is reliable, resourceful, innovative and filled with powerful tools like social networking and mobile applications.  The founders and board members of ShadowCare believe Registered Nurses are essential for coordinating care, promoting wellness and driving disease prevention.  Please visit our site or refer your friends and family to ShadowCare.  While I hope you never need our services, if you do, I hope you will find comfort in knowing ShadowCare is there to help you.  Join our community today on Facebook and Twitter.
