Networked Insights partners with Wired to provide Election Day Analysis

Wired has always felt like something from the future. Heck, pull a dusty old issue of their print magazine from 4-5 years ago off the bookshelf and it still reads like something from the future.

That’s why, in the midst of a Presidential election where the future of the free world is at stake, in a month where the standing President is serving as Guest Editor, and a time in politics where the social conversation has had more influence on the results than ever, Networked Insights is happy to announce our collaboration with Wired on their 2016 Election Day coverage – providing what we think is the future of analytics to one of the smartest, forward-thinking media outlets on the planet.

Our analytics platform, Kairos, is used to help some of the world's leading brands turn noisy social data into valuable business insights, but what we've found is that this data is not just useful for brands who want to make smarter business decisions, but can also be incredibly useful for correctly guessing the World Series Champions (Go Cubs!), predicting the success of box office releases, and now trying to beat media powerhouses like RealClearPolitics and FiveThirtyEight at predicting the Presidential elections.

On that front, our VP of Analytics, Dr. Jaime Brugueras, has been tracking sentiment and intent in social conversations from the start of the election season, using Kairos and weighted social data to predict election results on a state by state basis.
