Here at the Over Beers Podcast we have been pushing out alot of great content! This new series is no exception. We take our favorite products from the last week on Product Hunt and talk them out while of course enjoying our favorite beers!

Check out this weeks episode and let us know what you think on twitter @OB_Podcast

The Hunts:

Jack’s Picks!

  1. DrawAttention.co — This was the perfect example of the impulse buys that come from PH on a weekly basis, but always for a good reason. This Dallas company created whiteboards for your laptop. Jim and I talked about it and both agreed that this is perfect for when we are in the coffee shop working and want to collaborate with people around us! Great work guys, and they are pretty cheap too at just $12 bucks for one!
  2. Keecker.com — This French company started off with a Kickstarter program that was more than double funded within a month and has since taken over PH and the minds of many with their “homepod” that will soon be the future. You can take your content on your phone with you anywhere you go with a projector to display on any surface plus many more features that we go into more in this episode!
  3. SpinnnerA fun and quirky Iphone app that allows you to challenge your friends to spinning contests, literally. It only costs $.99 and you are supporting a developer/designer who created a simple yet fun application.

Jimmy’s Picks

  1. Vidfall.com — While talking about using bidding platform type of e-commerce sites, Jim mentions that Vidfall has an interesting feature. You and a community can lower the price of goods sold by watching product advertisement videos, the more people exposed the lower the price. Will be interesting if this type of thinking can lead to an edge on other platforms out there!
  2. ConverseSampleLibrary.com — This was most interesting to us because Converse teams up with independent artists to put out over 11k free sound-clips for anyone to use! Anything from guitar riffs to piano melodies, there are free options from real artists for anyone to use. No-brainer if you ask us.
  3. Eero.com — This was one of the biggest hunts this week and for good reason. Eero is a company that makes these wifi extenders for your apartment or home but these are different than most extenders. They boast a 15 second set-up and no loss of wifi speed. They are taking pre-orders now so snatch one up for $120 or three for $300 to get rid of your internet problems!
