A New Social Media Platform to Value Sports Conversations in Real-Time

Block Six Analytics (B6A) announced the release of a Real-Time Social Sentiment Analysis Platform. The new service offering enables B6A clients to:

  • Evaluate whether social media posts about a team, athlete, partner, and/or brand are positive or negative.
  • Determine the number of impressions for each social media post.
  • Establish the value of each social media post in real-time.

The social sentiment platform not only evaluates social media posts from clients’ accounts it also examines all conversation that occurs about a sports property, agency, or brand by using a propriety algorithm to search for relevant conversations. The analysis is then run through B6A’s Corporate Asset Valuation model to determine the value of the posts.

“This approach enables B6A to identify the people, topics, and trends that are generating the most interest and value for our clients,” B6A CEO / Founder Adam Grossman said. “We then can provide data-driven strategic recommendations to our clients on how to maximize engagement with their target audiences using social media platforms.”

Determining social media value in real-time builds on B6A’s approach to provide quantitative and qualitative insights quickly to our clients. The Partnership Scoreboard software as a service (SaaS) platform integrates data from the Social Sentiment Analysis into B6A’s unique cross-channel approach. Clients can now evaluate how social media campaigns perform alongside in-venue, media, digital, event, and IP sponsorship activations in the Partnership Scoreboard.
