YCharts to Introduce Platinum Pro This Week

This week, YCharts will launch its latest offering, a Platinum Pro subscription. According to CEO Shawn Carpenter, this will place YCharts in the same league as traditional financial terminals by offering more data and analytics, and by reaching over 700,000 visitors monthly.


“People will really have to try the product to understand its true power, but it's a huge upgrade from our Pro Gold service,” Carpenter says.

Carpenter sees financial thinkers who value an integrated data product backed with powerful analytics as the Platinum Pro target. This includes everyone from venture capitalists to hedge fund managers to research analysts. “It's all about giving people true analytical power while saving time and easing the headaches that almost always seem to come with large-scale data analysis,” he says.

YCharts now offers three options to consumers: Basic, Pro Gold and Platinum Pro subscriptions targeted to investors, advanced users and professionals, respectively. The newest package makes it easier to find details such as economic indicators, indices, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and companies. Pair this with a tenfold increase in calculations to 900, and professionals now have access to visual financial data and analytics far beyond anything YCharts has previously offered.

Looking forward, Carpenter says YCharts will continue on its quest to harness all of the world’s financial data in order to make it easier for consumers to make smart financial decisions. “As the company who has been making data aggregation, presentation and visualization easier for years now, we certainly plan to continue our work there.”
