Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Architect and develop highly complex software solutions with integrations to SAP ERP and SAP NetWeaver Gateway using Object Oriented ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, ALE, RFCs, IDOCS, Enhancements, Smart Forms, Dynpro, ECC 6.0, User exits (development functions), SAP BODS, RESTful APIs and technical change management tools (4 yrs); Configure and implement SAP Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Vehicle Management System (VMS) modules and In-depth knowledge of Order Fulfillment, and Order Processing functions (4 yrs); Applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints knowledge, specifically in SAP HANA (4 yrs); Work in TDD and acceptance test-driven development, utilizing ABAPUnit and SAP ATC (1 yr); Work with DevSecOps principles and tools, including Okta and Continuous Integration and Delivery tools, including Jenkins, Active Control, and GitHub (1 yr). 50% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 10% domestic and international travel required.
