Envisionit, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Chicago, is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team. Our clients span a number of industries including CPG, Emerging Tech & Tourism, and our teams boast many talents across the spectrum of digital. We are headquartered in Chicago and have a beautiful office overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan in a hybrid work environment model (1-2 days in office/week). Please also note we are prioritizing local candidates for this specific need.

 

The role:

As an Account Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination and collaboration with internal teams and external clients, for the accounts you’re assigned to. You’ll be focused on developing strong relationships with client contacts, proactively managing their expectations and effectively communicating key details with the internal team to ensure we are consistently demonstrating the reason our clients hired us, throughout each phase of the client experience. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing day-to-day client communications ensuring all are responded to and aligned with the department SOPs and service agreements
  • Demonstrating keen attention to detail and ensuring all team members have been given the information needed to be prepared for every client meeting
  • Preparing onboarding documentation for your accounts when new clients or internal team members join the team
  • Supporting account leaders on the development of North Stars and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Identifying when senior account leadership should step in to support client needs, ensuring all stakeholders remain highly connected to all project activities and expectations are always proactively managed
  • Leading client status meetings, documenting all outputs and sharing recaps to internal and external teams
  • Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and ensuring any deviations are documented and updated plans are developed and shared
  • Working with Project Managers on estimating new work to ensure the inclusions, assumptions and relevant inputs for development of estimates are packaged for the right approvals internally before sharing with clients
  • Ensuring the right back stage and front stage “performances” are happening to prevent regrettable client or program loss
  • Proactively provide context for shifts in revenue forecasting to Ads

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience managing clients and/or projects, in an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services and their application to client business objectives
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management and retention
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Experience or interest in implementing AI solutions for account teams
  • Experience in Travel/Tourism/Destinations space is a plus
