We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. Your background has a focus on an accurate and efficient month end close process while collaborating with the rest of the Finance team. Your experience in a growth-stage company has you thinking through scaling processes that impact every department of the company. You aren’t just about getting these things done, but about enhancing existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the month end close process and leading the team to accomplish accurate and timely reporting
• Review and approve journal entries ensuring that transactions are appropriately recorded on a timely basis
• Ownership of operational cash management and monitoring of balances
• Manage billing and collections process and deliver on receivable KPIs
• Lead team of direct reports in achieving professional development, performance goals, and team based goals
• Lead ERP implementation (including but not limited to data migration and integrity, organize and deliver project schedules, establishing best practices and system workflows) and maintain accounting system
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors, managing audit requirements and procedures
• Oversee tax compliance and completing required tax filings
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects including process improvements and making our processes scalable

Desired Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2 years managing a team
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree (Business related field preferred) or 8-14 years of relevant accounting experience
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and report building tools and analysis
• Detailed and process-oriented with the ability to identify improvements and implement change
• Solid interpersonal and listening skills; ability to establish rapport and credibility quickly with our immediate and external team
• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Sensitivity in handling confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with SaaS business model a big plus
