Accounting Summer Intern

NinjaHoldings is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious Accounting Summer Intern who is interested in the opportunity to grow and learn as part of a dynamic team at the heart of NinjaHoldings’ financial reporting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn about the unsecured consumer lending space in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis and account reconciliations
• Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
• Assist in streamlining of accounting processed and procedures
• Support Accounting Manager with strategic projects
• Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
• In general, serve as support for the members of the Accounting team

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Incoming or current senior in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree Program in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Strong quantitative analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner
• Experience with SQL or other relational database tools a plus
