Summary
The Associate Director of Customer Supply Chain - Philly will work closely with our customer team to provide support in all areas of business operations for Philadelphia Cream Cheese's largest customers including: Inventory Management (IM), Logistics/Warehousing (L&W) and Category Management (CM). The role requires strong knowledge across IM, L&W, CM and working relationships with multiple departments throughout the organization. The role provides leadership to both internal and external stakeholders on behalf of Philly.
Responsibilities• Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop supply chain strategies for key accounts• Manage the development and execution of customer specific programs and processes to improve service levels and profitability while reducing costs and inventory• Provide guidance on process improvement opportunities and act as liaison between the business units and corporate resources to facilitate the implementation of those improvements• Responsible for understanding and managing contractual obligations with customers• Collaborate with finance, commercialization, sales, and other functions to ensure appropriate funding for new product launches, promotions, and other initiatives• Develop and implement processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce cost-to-serve for key accounts• Drive continuous improvement through the use of Lean tools such as Six Sigma and Kaizen• Support the integration of new acquisitions into the existing customer base by providing subject matter expertise on key account management processes and systems• Work with cross functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute on new technologies and systems to enable growth and improved operational performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or related field
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels within the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
Ability to travel up to 20% of time
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
