Job Description

Position Overview:

Administrator III, Infrastructure will be responsible for analyzing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure both in terms of LAN and WAN. You will be working as a Network Engineer who will be responsible for the overall operational health in terms of security, availability, performance and interoperability of our data communications systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and administer network architecture primarily consists of Cisco switches, PaloAlto and Sonic firewalls
  • Implement and support site-to-site VPN tunnels and remote-access VPNs
  • Administer Aruba and Ruckus based WiFi infrastructure
  • Manage multi-site enterprise level WAN, including expansion, and implementation
  • Implement and maintain LAN\WAN high availability architecture
  • Proactively monitor LAN\WAN and third-party equipment minimizing the downtime
  • Resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and related network problems within SLA
  • Implement network security measures per given requirements
  • Participate in maintaining the company phone system both POTS and VoIP
  • Log all network changes per change-management procedure
  • Collaborate with third parties for any network related requests
  • Participate in disaster recovery operations when requested
  • Help developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Regularly perform backups of all the networking gears
  • Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades
  • Apply patches to the networking equipment as deems necessary
  • Keep network managing tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, etc. up to date
  • Regularly provide network performance statistics and bandwidth usage report
  • Actively maintain network documentation in terms of inventory, service and support, licenses, IP addressing, and network diagrams
  • Be a part of on-call support schedule

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on networking experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Extensive experience with configuring\managing Cisco switches
  • Solid experience in Implementing VPN solutions such as GlobalProtect with 2FA 
  • Proficient in IP addressing, subnets and supernets
  • Experience in IP routing and troubleshooting
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Experience in deploying a WiFi solution preferably Aruba 
  • Considerable experience in PaloAlto Firewall configuration (ACLs, IPSec Tunnels, Routing)
  • Understanding of WAN redundancy/failover setup and protocols
  • Knowledge of MPLS and SD-WAN technologies
  • Experience with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
  • Cisco CCNA certification

Base Pay

85,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
