Job Description
Position Overview
The Analyst II, Business Applications should be an experienced, hands-on analyst that will help implement, support and maintain a variety of business applications. The Analyst II, Business Applications will work within the IT organization, playing a leading support role in application change management, incident management, problem management, project management, and application governance. The Analyst II will coordinate and collaborate with key business stakeholders and software vendors to ensure system performance, operability, stability and security.
Responsibilities
- Technical support SME for the business application's operation, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancements
- Perform, or facilitate all IT-related functions for the business applications
- Occasional off-hours work and on-call duties
- Meet with business application owners/users to review upcoming maintenance, system enhancements and support related issues
- Guidance to applications owners/users on business application usage
- Assist Service Desk personnel on business applications requests and incidents
- Engagement of the IT infrastructure team for technical design, configurations and ongoing operations of applications
- Developing and maintaining systems support documents, SOPs, user training documents, and service catalogs
- Manage business application vendors and third parties to provide exceptional application governance and support
- Represent and perform change management, training, and communication to the user community for applications
- Provide weekly status reports and develop metrics for business applications for reporting to leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst and / or support analyst
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS and Azure products and services
- Experience with managing and maintaining application monitoring systems
- Ability to create, run and analyze Microsoft SQL queries
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage project delivery
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects to support business needs
- Ability to flexibly accept dynamically changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server operations and support
- Experience with Dayzer, PROMOD or energy data modeling or forecasting tools
- Experience with Adapt2 and Allegro or energy trading tools
- Experience with Data analytics and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI
- Experience with automation tools such as PowerAutomate
- Expereince with scripting tools such as Python and PowerShell
Salary Range
$76,000 - $99,750
