The Revenue Analytics team is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analytics solutions to Revenue leadership, cross-functional internal stakeholders, and external partners across a variety of strategic initiatives and topics, optimizing decisions and execution.
As a Manager on the Revenue Analytics team, you will support a Revenue segment to drive the segment’s growth strategy and measure progress against it. You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to craft compelling narratives, and experience with producing tools and processes to scale data usage within an organization. In addition to analytical rigor, you will have strong interpersonal skills to work within the organization and with external partners to drive forward segment optimization recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of solving complex problems through data analytics. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will need to have the persistence as well as aptitude to initiate and lead projects from end to end.
What You'll Do:
Optimize Decision Making and Execution

Act as a strategic cross-functional partner to a Revenue segment by providing thought leadership through the execution of advanced data analysis and presentation in the form of actionable insight

Establish oneself as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the assigned Revenue segment across a range of topics by framing decisions in the context of trade-offs for the segment

Operate as Affirm’s Analytics Point of Contact (POC) to key external stakeholders by developing a strong working relationship to enable success of shared business goals
Own Comprehensive Analytics Solution

Drive definition of KPIs, performance benchmarks, and leading indicators by performance for assigned Revenue segment by identifying and working with unstructured and structured data sources (in-house and third-party)

Identify and leverage tools like business cases, A/B tests, and performance reporting dashboards to engage Affirm’s external partners to continuously demonstrate Affirm’s value proposition and product performance
Scaling Impact

Analyze external GTM motions as well as internal processes in the long-tail merchant portfolio to find optimization opportunities in helping the organization scale

Identify common analytics processes, create the appropriate data infrastructure, and evangelize throughout the organization to scale ability for organization to apply data in decision-making
What We Look For:

6+ years of combined work experience in analytically-driven roles (e.g. consulting, finance) and / or analytics roles at other mid-to-large scale Tech organizations

Strong working knowledge of analytical and data visualization tools including SQL, Looker, and Python for data analysis and modeling

Experience with modeling unstructured data by leveraging common industry tools (e.g. dbt, Fivetran) to unify multiple heterogeneous sources into one unified single source of truth

Extensive experience building and driving adoption of KPI frameworks to evaluate business health

Prior success in building strong relationships with decision makers in large external organizations

Exceptional problem-solving skills, including ability to operate in ambiguity and establishing analytical frameworks to apply to business problems

Ability to communicate effectively, and craft compelling narratives to influence business and technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Strong organization and execution skills, including ability to operate independently and drive multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously to drive business goals

Pay Grade - M
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $180,000 - $230,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $160,000 - $210,000
