Our Business Development team focuses on expanding our client base in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. This individual will join a very successful team that serves as an integral part of Mintel's business and will get the opportunity to partner with some of the key players in these industries to sell our entire suite of research solutions. The role requires a hungry and motivated salesperson with at least three years of experience in consultative solutions-based selling. 

You should have a proven track record of delivering return on investment and achieving sales targets as you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with our highly valued clients. You should be strategic, creative and first and foremost, a trustworthy partner to the businesses we support.

This is a Hybrid position based in Chicago. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Creating a consultative strategy to target new clients within the CPG (beauty, food & beverage, home &  personal care) space 
  • Identifying and prospecting key decision makers within marketing and research divisions to understand their specific consumer insights needs
  • Delivering exceptional sales results against net-new revenue target on a quarterly basis
  • Traveling to clients for face-to-face meetings in addition to holding Zoom conversations, discussing the benefits and impact Mintel’s data can bring to their business

The below reflects the range of base salary for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and qualifications. The salary range for this role is: $60,000 USD to $75,000 USD.
