About the Opportunity:
Position Description: As part of the Global IT team, our Oracle CPQ Sales Analyst maintains a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization while acting in the best interest of the IT, Sales and Marketing department(s). The role will encompass the major components of the full project life cycle - requirements review, analysis, design review, Oracle CPQ development, set-up, testing and support. The role will serve to ensure that the delivered solution meets the needs of global end users and executes a strategic objective that enhances internal and/or external customer experience. This position requires a combination of in-depth functional business knowledge and technical proficiency in Oracle CPQ application administration and development with experience in CPQ developer toolkit, including BML and BMQL. The person will work closely with global business application users. Strong problem-solving skills are required to diagnose and troubleshoot CPQ issues. The specialist would provide functional direction and leadership for CPQ application solutions working with all IT Business Systems Analysts. They will work with a talented global team to implement requirements and provide development solutions for our CPQ Platform. This person will also partner with a Salesforce managed service to support all Sales and Marketing processes and systems.

General Duties:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions and integrations with Oracle CPQ and other Sales and Marketing systems
  • Develop custom code and objects using the CPQ developer toolkit, such as BML, BMQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Answer functional/technical questions regarding Oracle CPQ
  • Perform functional testing of modifications
  • Research future CPQ releases and assist in implementation of new functionality
  • Work closely with domestic as well as international CPQ users
  • Create and maintain setup and process documentation
  • Perform user maintenance as needed
  • Deliver report and dashboard support
  • Implement and maintain customer and partner communities
  • Configure and customize CPQ features such as rules, recommendations, pricing, workflows, approvals, and quote management
  • Develop web services API integrations with other systems such as Salesforce, Oracle EBS ERP, and related business applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle CPQ functionality and performance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders
  • Document and maintain Oracle CPQ configuration and development standards and best practices
  • Closely collaborate with Salesforce Managed services

  • Effectively uses teamwork skills to interact and collaborate on alternative approaches to software development issues.
  • Positively contributes to a high morale/high-performance, and team culture, leading by example.
  • Works well with and maintains a positive attitude when working with end users and fellow IT team members.


Job Knowledge / Experience:

  • Strong Sales and Marketing business process definition background
  • 3-plus years of overall experience configuring, developing and managing Oracle CPQ
  • Able to configure and enhance Oracle CPQ
  • Proficient in CPQ developer toolkit, such as BML, BMQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Experience in Oracle Asset Based Ordering
  • Experience in web services API development and integration with other systems
  • Knowledge of CPQ business processes and best practices
  • Salesforce administration and development is a plus


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Sales and Marketing or equivalent
  • Oracle CPQ Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification a plus
