Our Campus Recruiting team is currently seeking a Campus Recruiter to join our organization. In this role, you will partner with Recruiting Managers and Business Leaders to promote the GEICO employment brand and drive top talent to GEICO through innovative recruitment strategies.

 

Responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Managing full lifecycle recruitment and collaborating with hiring managers to understand their recruiting needs for entry-level and internship roles
  • Developing and executing recruitment strategies at assigned universities to drive a high quality, diverse applicant pool to GEICO
  • Seeking out innovative opportunities and fostering relationships at assigned universities to positively build the GEICO employment brand as a destination for top talent and attract new pipelines of talent with desired skill sets to GEICO
  • Managing GEICO resources and allocating budget and associate time towards the highest yield recruiting efforts, including partnerships, events, and sourcing strategies
  • Maintaining engagement with candidates from assigned universities throughout the recruitment process, offering interview prep and guidance as needed, extending verbal and written offers at the direction of the Recruiting Manager, driving offer conversion, and engaging as ambassadors on campus through start date and beyond
  • Maintaining compliance with and being a champion for EEO laws related to the recruitment process when developing recruitment strategies and representing GEICO
  • Assisting with overall team recruitment efforts as needed, such as conducting interviews, screening candidate resumes and applications, creating and hosting virtual events, and executing targeted sourcing efforts through platforms like Handshake or LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Leading and/or participating in special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or military experience
  • At least one year of experience in human resources, sales, talent recruitment or development, customer service or higher education
  • Ability to travel to assigned universities up to 75% during peak season
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to present in front of large audiences with ease

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with early talent sourcing platforms, such as Handshake or LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and experience developing event strategies and innovative approaches to attracting early talent to corporate opportunities

Annual Salary

$69,700.00 - $115,825.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
