The channel manager is responsible for building, managing, and scaling the company’s channel partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition. This role involves developing partner strategy, onboarding new partners, enabling partner success, and aligning with internal teams to optimize indirect sales performance.

What you will do

  • Channel Strategy & Development: Design and implement a comprehensive channel strategy, including partner segmentation, recruitment, onboarding, and enablement.
  • Partner Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key channel partners, including resellers, distributors, system integrators, and managed service providers.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive indirect sales through channel partners by developing joint go-to-market plans, promotions, and incentive programs.
  • Performance Management: Track and analyze partner performance using KPIs and CRM data; identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Partner Enablement: Oversee partner training, certification programs, marketing resources, and sales tools to ensure partners are equipped to sell effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to align partner programs with overall business goals.
  • Compliance & Contracts: Ensure all partner agreements and activities adhere to company policies, legal standards, and brand guidelines.

What your need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development
  • Proven success in building and scaling channel programs.
  • Strong understanding of channel economics, partner lifecycle, and indirect sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and partner management tools
  • Travel regularly to visit channel partners or represent the company at events..
