Who We Want
As a Client Success Weekend Associate, you’ll be responsible for mastering the fundamentals of operational excellence. You’ll handle daily operations for both existing and new client accounts, focusing on load building, appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and providing timely updates to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will involve honing these skills and expanding your responsibilities as you grow within Client Success. You must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, proactive, think critically, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming calls and initiate outbound calls to carriers and drivers to confirm arrivals and communicate important information.
- Become an expert in Arrive Logistics’ standard operating procedures, transportation management systems, and tools for shipment tracking.
- Oversee the daily load board, including data entry for load building, scheduling, tracking, and load closure to ensure smooth operations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness for customer accounts..
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with shippers and consignees within your customer’s network.
- Provide effective communication with Carrier reps and customer contacts when rescheduling pickups, deliveries, or obtaining tracking updates.
- Proactively communicate with customers about any delays in shipments.
- Understand the customer’s committed lanes and when to accept or reject loads tendered by the customer.
- Build knowledge of the industry and Arrive operations, pursuing continuous educational opportunities.
- Develop relationships with customer contacts through timely and professional communication.
- Collaborate with the Business Development (BD, Client Success (CS), and Carrier teams to resolve issues and deliver best-in-class service.
- Maximize profitability by evaluating appointment times, load flexibility, and other factors to secure the best rates.
- Prioritize exceptions and work with the Carrier team to provide timely updates to customers.
- Work proactively with management to identify and address potential aging concerns for customer shipments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Proven commitment and work ethic in a school or work setting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while multitasking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident in taking verbal/written instructions and executing tasks independently.
