What we are looking for:

We’re looking for full-time employees. There are multiple roles open and we are rapidly growing. Candidates will likely be current students with a willingness to learn and experienced technicians who have a desire to work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology.

We use Carbon DLS, MJF, and Formlabs machines onsite here at our West Loop, Chicago manufacturing location.

Compensation is hourly at a rate of $16-$18/hr depending on level of experience.

About the Role:

• 3D Printer set-up (filling and mixing resin cassettes, loading and unloading powder carts, scheduling and sending prints to printers)
• Cleaning, washing, and preparing parts for thermal processing
• Performing daily machine maintenance duties; cleaning, scheduled preventative maintenance, and general repairs.
• Secondary Processing (media blasting, sanding, and general assembly work).
• General facility maintenance, including following 6s processes to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Occasional clerical duties such as managing inventory or packaging parts
• Actively support, develop, and implement plant continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

• Prior 3D printing or manufacturing experience/knowledge (a plus but not required)
• Appreciation for building and working with materials hands on (required)
• Prior experience using inspection and metrology tools/equipment (preferred, not required)
• Detail oriented and interested in learning more about new manufacturing technologies
• Ready to dive in and work on all things occurring in the production facility any given day
• Flexible timing and able to work independently
• Thrives in a fast pace and adaptable environment

This full-time role requires 40+ hours of work (including overtime options)
