The Audio-Visual Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for the oversite and operations of all Paylocity’s AV solutions across all office locations. This role works closely with the EUC manager to design, engineer, and execute executive and large-scale events both locally and around the united states. This includes working with all internal and external customers on their event needs, setup, tear down and operation of audio-visual equipment.

Required experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AV
  • CTS Certification
  • Knowledge of AMX/Crestron programming
  • Local and Domestic travel required 15% of the time
  • Corporate AV setup and support with Mac and Windows computers
  • Expert experience in the following hardware and technologies: Zoom, Skype, Mersive, Crestron, Tesira, Cisco and Bright Sign a plus
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Professional presence, as this role requires face to face interaction with key clients and partners
  • Solid understanding of signal flow and professional audio components.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong PC and Networking experience.
  • Knowledge of standard software for DSP set-up, switcher set-up, etc.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device

During the last three months, you would have:

  • Provided technical audio-visual, multi-media, and video support services for business meetings, conferences, training sessions, and corporate events including technology upgrades and system maintenance
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain multimedia equipment such as video projectors, monitors, audio systems, video cameras, DVD players, and video conferencing equipment
  • Ensured proper connectivity of equipment, networks, and computers to the AV system for display
  • Developed and mentored peers in a collaborative environment
  • Set-up, maintain and operate medium to large-scale audio-visual events
  • Led daily operations and preventative maintenance of “Smart” conference rooms, executive conference rooms and offices
  • Ensured a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup
  • Provided technical expertise to support architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions
