Content Marketing Editor

Being a Content Marketing Editor at iManage means…
You will help us create an industry best practice content marketing function within the growing iManage marketing team. You are part B2B writer and part cat herder. You are a creative content or digital marketer, that has project management skills required to align executives, subject matter experts, external contributors and writers into a beautiful content program. You understand the value of good, relevant content to create trust and awareness within our buyers, influencer and customer communities. You can plan, curate and write compelling B2B marketing copy and have a keen editorial eye.
The role will report to the Head of Content and you will be key in executing an effective central content strategy which expands iManage’s reputation as a trusted authority through thought leadership and a contemporary web strategy, growing the audience footprint from current traditional buyers to expand into new roles and industries.
iM Responsible For…
- Content creation – Developing creative content ideas, providing copywriting, liaising with internal SME’s and supporting and leading writers through editorial support
- Content strategy, editorial and calendar – Maintaining the content plan, providing the project and traffic management needed to ensure a steady stream of content into demand generation and thought leadership programs. Including coordinating an approval/governance process, internal stakeholders, executives, content producers, freelancers and agencies
- Web content strategy and operations – Supporting the development of a web publication and maintaining corporate website content. Working with external agencies to ensure content is optimized for search, technically well maintained and the UX/UI supports the audience needs
- Content effectiveness – Understanding, defining, and communicating metrics that demonstrate content effectiveness in gaining awareness, trust and how it has influenced a buyer’s journey

- Project/traffic management skills: Highly organized with experience in running creative projects and matrix teams using Asana, Trello, Monday or similar
- Excellent content contributions: Exceptional business creative copy writing and editing skills including articles, product content, bylines, scripts and web copy. With a demonstrable ability to create relevant, compelling stories and ideas from data and research
- Content publishing experience: Hands-on experience managing and publishing content via a web content management solution
- Digital marketing expertise: A working knowledge of multi-channel campaign planning, channel optimization and contemporary marketing strategies
- A passion for content marketing: Understand the craft, and can demonstrate that working in content marketing either in an agency or in-house, or that can be expressed
