You’re a lover of language who knows how to capture voice and tone of different brands through sharp copywriting. It’s not a small or easy task, but it’s a fun and rewarding one. If you think you’re up for it, read on.

We are looking for a creative copywriter to build engaging copy across a wide variety of projects, from complex website redesigns to creative brand copy, from striking headlines to head-turning ad copy. Driven to craft innovative copy solutions, this individual will become an internal expert on the client’s branding guidelines, voice and tone. One must have agency experience and is hungry to grow in an autonomous environment.

Our partners offer solutions in a variety of industries and we would like our copywriter to be able to adjust their tone and voice accordingly. One day you may be writing website copy for a national food brand, the next you may be creating ad copy for a B2B client. Don’t just have a strong voice; have a lot of them.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, persuasive, original copy through various iterations of a project

  • Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the creative director to develop brand and content strategies for our partners across a variety of industries

  • Determine the conceptual and copy direction of our partners’ branding and digital advertising initiatives

  • Collaborate in strategic brainstorming, creative brief development, campaign development, and creative execution

  • Ability to go deep in research into client industries and understand the standards, trends, and where the market is heading

  • Write and edit content for client websites, social channels, ads, video scripts, blogs, brand style guides, voice and tone guides, etc.

  • Ability to exercise both technical and creative/editorial copywriting skills, and an understanding of the appropriate context and audience for each

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously

 

What We Need From You

  • 4-6 years of copywriting experience at an agency

  • Proven ability to create copy for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries

  • A portfolio of writing samples that shows a variety of work, including branding and digital advertising as well as strong conceptual thinking

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment.

  • Social media management across all platfoms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc)

  • Proven ability to dig into the details and emerge with strong strategic insights and a compelling story.

  • The ability to iterate quickly and effectively in response to feedback

  • A strong creative mindset — ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table

  • A love of branding

  • If you don’t know it, you’re willing to learn it
