POSITION PROFILE

The Digital Applications Manager will be the primary owner of the host of applications that support the HOLLY HUNT digital experience, serving as the expert on our digital technical architecture and infrastructure. This person will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing issues as they arise across all digital applications, including the HOLLY HUNT website(s), partnering with IT and the development team to troubleshoot. This role will also be responsible for maintaining and updating all digital application content in accordance to the calendar and business objectives defined by the Marketing team. Additionally, the digital applications manager will oversee the execution of new features introduced to our digital applications, ensuring they are successfully implemented in line with our client needs and overall digital strategy.

In this role, you will report to the Director of IT, but will also work closely with the Director of Digital Strategy to prioritize workload, improve the digital user experience, and identify opportunities for digital innovation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, manage, refresh, monitor, implement, and upgrade the HOLLY HUNT website(s) and all supporting digital applications, continually striving to improve all aspects of the digital user experience
• Serve as the internal authority on all technical aspects of the host of digital applications that support the website
• Regularly troubleshoot the website(s) and all supporting digital technology solutions to ensure flawless functionality, and work with appropriate resources to resolve all related issues
• Work with Director of Digital Strategy to determine the information architecture and appropriate content strategy for superior user experience
• Perform all day-to-day maintenance and serve as central recipient for new content, working with marketing and the business teams to ensure digital application content is refreshed, up-to-date, and accurate
• Support Director of Digital Strategy in evaluating, prioritizing, and defining user requirements for all digital application enhancement requests and ideas
• Own creation of technical specifications required to implement digital application enhancements and manage communication with marketing, appropriate departments and development partners to execute updates
• Identify digital technologies and make recommendations for enhancements that follow industry trends and standards

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related field; master’s degree is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience managing a website, working within website Content Management Systems
• Ability to troubleshoot digital application issues in a fast-paced environment
• Deep experience with digital-specific architectures, strategies and execution/implementation
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexible, self-motivated with strong time management skills, and a multi-tasker
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially regarding abstract concepts
• Proven ability to manage and collaborate cross-functionally with creative, sales, business, and technical teams
• Leadership and/or management experience is a plus
• Experience with Drupal Stack and Microsoft Stack
• Experience with API’s, Mulesoft preferred
• Experience with an ERP system, NAV/BC preferred
• Experience with an PIM/DAM system, Enable preferred
• Strong working knowledge of all relevant coding languages (PHP, JavaScript, HTML)
• Experience with source control, Git preferred
