Ultimately, the job of the Director of Content is to think like a publisher/journalist, leading the development of content on TruePublic and managing a team of content creators and moderators.
Develop the most interesting polling questions in the world and make sure that each user has questions that interest their individual tastes.
Recruit, hire and manage a group of content creators who each control a specific category which they are an expert in.
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for great user experience.
Develop a robust “Breaking News” function on the TruePublic application. Make sure the app is always updated with content around the latest breaking news in pop culture, politics, sports, and more.
Work with journalists, universities, and partners to deliver the content they need to make great stories from TruePublic data.
Manage TruePublic Ambassador questions sent from thousands of users across America.
Work with product and marketing team for better content delivery.
Develop a consistent feedback loop to constantly improve the overall user experience at TruePublic.
