The purpose of this position is to support leading the design, development, and delivery of the content and programming for both in-person and digital events programs. This includes research and development, building relationships with sponsors, content curation, speaker logistics, program advisory board management, coordination of content promotion, program quality assurance, and audience development efforts.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops event programming and sponsor packages that supports revenue goals and strategic objectives of the business.
  • Collaborates with Function leaders to develop event programs and content that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Coordinates sponsored program content, agendas, sessions, and manages speaker recruitment.
  • Creates and manage processes for gathering the content and program updates of all event website pages including program summaries, agendas, speaker biographies, and session details.
  • Reviews and contributes to marketing collateral including but not limited to program guides, brochures, ePushes, websites and any other specialized flyers and/or communications pieces used to market the program.
  • Supports new event programming initiatives as directed by leadership including, but not limited to conferences, events, and the introduction of new topics.
  • Utilizes project management skills to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, bringing them to completion within expected time frames and manages the development and completion of program elements within related timelines.
  • Manages onsite activities for programming as assigned
  • Travel to in-person events as required.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience in program and content development for events and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to design event programs that increase audience engagement
  • Customer focused with assertive, self-confident personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated abilities in various technologies like the Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
