We’re looking for a Food Safety & Quality Auditor to join our Quality Team in Chicago, IL.

General Functions + Responsibilities:

• Perform audit procedures including developing criteria, reviewing processes and procedures, conducting interviews and document reviews, identifying gaps, and delivering a written audit report.
• Follow up on non-conformances with suppliers.
• Support the supplier risk matrix development.
• Make recommendations based on observations, documents, and sound judgement.
• Escalate critical audit findings in a timely manner to our teams.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with manufacturing and supplier partners.
• Provide input into the development and ongoing updates to the Food Safety & Quality Standards.

Skills + Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in an audit capacity with food safety or quality for a Consumer Packaged Goods company
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, and be based out of Chicago HQ when not traveling
