We are seeking a Head of Content to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Chicago, to lead content strategy for ThinkMarkets, ensuring the highest-quality content across all marketing channels, to drive engagement with our target audience. Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Brand Strategy, the Head of Content will build out a comprehensive content plan, taking the lead on both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute a strategic content plan and editorial calendar for our global business
  • Ensure all content fits within the ThinkMarkets tone and brand and adheres to strong editorial standards
  • Establish creditability, define messaging and build thought leadership within the trading and investing industry
  • Develop a content roadmap that builds the ThinkMarkets brand and engages clients on our platform and drives acquisitions
  • Develop a robust library of content to be utilized across marketing assets easily
  • Take a data-focused approach to inform smart content creation choices to engage and grow audiences
  • Analyze content performance and use insights to produce better content and stay ahead of market needs
  • Partner closely with entire global Marketing, Sales and Product teams to understand the needs and priorities of each team
  • Partner with third parties, including research firms and analysts, to create content that resonates with our target audience

Requirements:

  • 7+ years managing content and brand tone
  • Experience within the financial trading and investing industry a must
  • International experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing or other related field
  • Extraordinary written communication skills: able to consolidate sophisticated ideas into clear, succinct executive summaries
  • Experience with video production, podcasts, and other content channels
  • Ability to effectively communicate to, present to, influence, or befriend all levels within an organization
  • Outstanding listening and writing skills and a keen ability to translate complex concepts into simple, persuasive language
