We're looking for a Health Care Writer to join this passionate team, bringing an innate curiosity that will help him, her, or them uncover, translate, and present internal and external best practices, research, and insights to our customers across themes, topics, and formats.

Our dream candidate will tap into internal experts, data, and research to create entertaining and helpful short-form and longer content, while seeking out new channels and sources both inside and outside our organization. In this role, you will be part writer and part research analyst, bringing the two elements together for insightful and relevant health care content.

Essential functions:

• Concept, research, and write health care content such as white papers, case studies, and position papers
• Execute on a research plan that leverages data and translates into storytelling that is engaging and insightful
• Conduct in-depth interviews with senior health care executives
• Document and analyze findings from primary and secondary research
• Reduce industry challenges to root cause problems
• Identify and critique best practice strategies and solutions
• Develop innovative frameworks for presentation of findings
• Contribute to creation of presentation materials
• Create partner and industry surveys

Required skills/abilities:

• B.A. in Journalism, English, or related field/experience.
• At least three years of experience in health care or medical writing. Writing samples are required
• Experience conducting primary and /or secondary research
• A comfort level presenting to and conducting interviews with a senior-level audience
• Working on the clinical or business sides of health care
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat)
• An excellent writer and capable of adapting to different voices/tones depending on the communicator, context, and audience
• A strong editor that also has the ability to self-edit
• Experienced in the AP Style of writing
• Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable. Changing priorities don’t rattle you and you are open to taking on new challenges.
• A self-starter who can manage multiple projects within established timelines

Preferred education and experience:

• Experience with survey platforms such as SurveySparrow
• Familiarity with WordPress
• Experience with Salesforce

• Supervisory Responsibilities: None
• Work Environment/Physical Demands: Standard remote office setting. Company laptop, modem, monitor, and mouse will be provided.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for company/department meetings or industry conferences. Less than 10% of total employee time.
• Work Authorization: Legally able to work in the United States without sponsorship
