Knowledge Manager

You will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, as part of a proposal team that influences more deals than anyone else in the company. You will be responsible for maintaining a rapidly growing knowledgebase of pre-written content essential to the effectiveness and productivity of the proposal team and the Sales organization. Your responsibilities will include continuously adding new materials to the knowledgebase while optimizing its overall structure and management processes to ensure ease of access and information integrity.

Knowledge Manager Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the architecture for the overall knowledgebase implementation
  • Define knowledgebase policies and practices and encourage users to follow
  • Add new content to knowledgebase, archive old content, and eliminate redundancies
  • Schedule regular reviews to identify areas that need to be updated/improved
  • Review and analyze knowledgebase structure and content regularly to ensure that it reflects the needs of the business
  • Review and analyze knowledgebase usage, gather feedback, and evaluate its impact in terms of the organizational benefits
  • Interact with proposal team, SMEs, and internal knowledgebase customers
  • Answer questions about knowledgebase content and practices
  • Provide training to help users access the knowledgebase
  • Proofread or provide other types of content reviews

Knowledge Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • Experience/background in computer science or information technology beneficial
  • MS Office proficiency, including advanced layout and editing skills in Word, PowerPoint, e-mail applications, and Web browsers
  • Strong time management/prioritization skills
  • Exceptional communications skills

  • Expert planning and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain constructive cross-functional working relationships
