Cumberland - a DRW Company is the cryptoasset arm of DRW, established in 2014 after early interest in cryptoassets and their underlying technology. Today, Cumberland is a global leader in cryptoassets, uniquely positioned between the traditional financial markets and the cryptoasset ecosystem. From our offices in Chicago, London and Singapore, we specialize in providing 24-hour institutional sized liquidity in all cryptoassets.
As a Marketing & Content Strategist, you’ll help Cumberland build a strong brand and reputation globally by applying your content marketing know-how. Working directly with stakeholders from across the business, you’ll drive and execute content strategy in support of our business development goals and identify the right content and channels to tell our story to potential and existing counterparties. This is a great role for someone who thinks strategically, but also wants to roll up their sleeves to build a new global business.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Create content for marketing platforms and business development materials, including email and web copy, digital advertising, social media content, presentations, thought leadership pieces, leave behind materials, and case studies
- Write compelling B2B marketing copy using effective messaging and direct response tactics to achieve business development goals and expand existing business
- Collaborate with brand & communications strategists to build and maintain editorial calendars across multiple content formats
- Define, monitor and report on content-related metrics, including email open rates, page visits, search engine optimization and social engagement
- Recommend and execute strategies to optimize content, user experience and search engine experience
- Support the business development team by strategizing, planning and executing responses to new business opportunities
- Support industry event and conference sponsorships with targeted content and promotional materials
You’ll be right at home if you have:
- 4+ years of marketing experience, with emphasis on digital, content or B2B marketing
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns
- Previous graphic design experience; experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience providing marketing and branding support to sales teams
- Exposure to event planning and promotion a plus
- A knack for collaborating successfully with diverse internal and external teams
- A demonstrated ability to tell data-driven stories through multiple channels
- Strong organizational and workflow management skills
- Experience with content marketing publishing and analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
