About the Role

We are hiring a skilled and passionate Motion Designer to support CMMS Data Group’s core marketing initiatives. You will produce stellar audio-video content from start to finish for storytelling, promotional, and educational purposes.  Content will be featured in social, email, and site campaigns and will be leveraged for conferences and tradeshows.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of mission-driven marketers.
• Create audio-video content from start to finish (pre-production, filming, editing, color correcting, post-production, and any necessary revisions needed along the way).
• Make dynamic short form paid ads, videos, and GIFs to be featured in social marketing, email, and site marketing campaigns.
• Develop engaging customer-facing instructional and educational content.
• Rapidly create and iterate video content with the goal of campaign (and channel) performance in mind.
• Travel to offsite locations to film and photograph customers and workplaces as needed.
• Mix basic audio (music and VO).
• Archive and organize finished projects.
• Ensure all work aligns with brand standards.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects from concept to final execution within deadlines.
• Think creatively and push the envelope.
• Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team of creatives.
• Report to the Marketing Lead

Who You Are

• 5+ years of video experience
• Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, film, communications, or art
• An expert video editor with a firm grasp of videography.
• Someone who can tell people an engaging story in 6 seconds or 2 minutes.
• A sharp eye for good footage and an acute sense of narrative, pacing, transitions, and tone.
• You have a proactive work ethic.
• Animation, 3D, and motion graphics skills
• High degree of proficiency in videography and photography
• High degree of proficiency in the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as familiarity with camera tech.
• A strategic thinker who knows how to develop strong creative that serves business goals and resonates with others.
• Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
• Making smart and memorable creative work is something you get excited about.
• You have a thorough understanding of visual storytelling.
• You have high standards and are detail-oriented with a desire to always be pixel-perfect.
• You are a maker who never stops learning, and you stay on top of the latest and greatest trends in the creative sphere.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced environment a plus.
