Senior AEM Content Specialist (Freelance)

 

closerlook's Senior AEM Content Specialist will be hands-on with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components and templates, web page creation and publishing. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to create a great customer experience for our clients in AEM. The Senior AEM Content Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities to increase speed to market, cost efficiency and scalability while delivering client solutions on time and within budget. They must be willing and able to work directly with clients and contribute to technological strategies, timelines, scopes and budgets to ensure successful results. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Author end-to-end content for the web site using the CMS component library & digital asset manager 
  • Assist in gathering requirements and assessing content authoring needs of a given project 
  • Responsible for selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (ranging across images, video, tagging, etc.) to create web pages that meet business requirements 
  • Participating in user testing and ensuring components are fit for purpose before being released into production 
  • Collaborates with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver expected results according to business requirements, creative specifications, project timelines and budgets 
  • Focuses on continual improvement of policies, processes and internal systems to increase overall efficiency, quality and scalability 
  • Writes clear and comprehensive technical documentation 
  • Identifies and mitigates risks before they become issues as far upstream as possible while providing solution-oriented recommendations 
  • Exhibits strong technical content management skills across the agency 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Prior experience authoring content for an enterprise level multi-site web ecosystem 
  • 4+ years of CMS content authoring experience within AEM 
  • Ability to lead technical projects with limited supervision and “pixel perfect” attention to detail 
  • Experience working with client’s external development teams 
  • Attention to detail, especially as it relates to complex customer interactions and compliance-mandated content 
  • Experience contributing to all phases of the project including scope, timelines, and estimates while proactively creating solutions to achieve results despite challenges and setbacks 
  • Strong documentation and communication (written and verbal) skills 
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser and cross-device web compatibility 
  • Ability to identify and provide supporting documentation of procedures and requirements
