The Role

Paro is hiring an individual to create, refine and curate multimedia content to drive trust, awareness, and consideration. The ideal candidate has experience in content/digital marketing for B2B audiences. They will come with deep experience editing and writing relevant, value-additive long- and short-form marketing content across mediums and journey stages, including editorial, website, email, sales collateral and video/audio. They will understand appropriate distribution and SEO techniques to drive traffic, and they will have project management skills to align stakeholders, cross-functional teams, subject matter experts and external consultants/freelancers. 

This individual will be key to executing our content strategy in order to build brand awareness and educate, inform, and convert Paro’s target audience throughout the client lifecycle. As a proactive, analytical creative, this individual will be passionate about the opportunity to be on the frontline of building a content program and will use industry best practices, analytics and subject matter expertise to position Paro as a thought leader and trusted partner for finance solutions.



Core Responsibilities:

  • Edit, write and produce multimedia content to drive effective journeys for key target audiences, touchpoints, and objectives
  • Manage content calendars and execute campaigns that align to brand and business strategy
  • Analyze and consistently report on content performance to guide optimizations and iterative improvements
  • Support development of content operations, from production to distribution, measurement, and maintenance/optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as sales, client success, and product to understand and produce content that can be leveraged across channels to drive awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversion across the lifecycle
  • Work closely with agencies, vendors and/or freelancers/contractors to produce and distribute quality content that drives brand recognition and leads
  • Keep tabs on relevant news and trends in the industry in order to incorporate into content campaigns and develop a culture of building SME knowledge within marketing

 

How you’ll add value:

  • 5+ years of content marketing writing/editing experience
  • Excellent storytelling skills paired with the ability to distill complex or technical messages into easy-to-understand language and visuals
  • Solid understanding of SEO and the ability to implement effectively in content program to drive organic traffic
  • Highly proactive and flexible in prioritizing and producing quality results under deadline 
  • Strong analytical skills paired with creativity, project management and planning skills
  • Understands and uses data for decision-making around content creation, promotion and optimization
  • Comfort with CMS, social media platforms, and other marketing tools, such as WordPress, LinkedIn, Hubspot and Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in AP Style
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable hands on experience
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Functional knowledge of finance and accounting preferred
