Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: $100,000 to $150,000 base plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do:

The growing User Experience (UX) team at Huntress is driven by our mission to deliver cybersecurity to the 99%, and our process reflects that.  We are looking for our first Senior Technical Writer to help us communicate in a human-centered and concise manner.  Technical writers improve UX by crafting clear and understandable material, which takes form in documentation, User Interface (UI) copy, knowledge articles, and more.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish proper documentation processes, style guides, and UI tone
  • Standardize and update UI copy and content use for Huntress products
  • Write and update topic-based knowledge articles, feature documentation, release notes, and other online content

What You Bring To The Team:  

  • 3+ years of experience writing topic-based documentation and UI copy for software products and services
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools, like Figma, InVision, or similar
  • A technical background or proven ability to assimilate technical information and produce accurate documentation; background in cybersecurity preferred
  • Ability to work across teams to help shape a cohesive interface and user experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
