Expertise in digital UX writing and instructional content, standards and best practices, organization, usability and design
Ability to write effective content that reflects how people actually talk, guides them with knowledge and lives the brand promise
Drive to constantly improve consumer experiences by proactively mining and leveraging data/analytics and insights to inform content decisions.
In-depth understanding of SEO and its application to content design and effectiveness
Collaborative approach to partnering with cross-functional teammates and matrixed stakeholders, with ability to manage projects and iterate quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment
Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and effectively with mid- to senior-level individuals across multiple departments and/or business units
A growth mindset with a strong and genuine interest in continuous feedback and learning
We’d Love to See
Demonstrated application of creating great digital content experiences that exceed consumer expectations by considering content holistically and using journeys, personas and design/systems thinking to innovate and problem-solve
Knowledge of specific practices around compliance and regulatory requirements for consumers in the credit/finance industry
3+ years as a UX writer or similar role in an in-house or agency setting, and 3+ years additional professional work experience
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, UX/UI Design, Information Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience
Portfolio of relevant work samples with a UX writing focus, including problems you helped solve for, your contributions, and impact to the customer
Impact You'll MakeEffectively communicate the complexities of the credit industry to consumers in a way that guides them in their journey and is consistent with brand guidelines and UX best practices
Pay strict attention to regulatory/compliance requirements, and collaborate with matrixed teams to ensure alignment across consumer-facing voice, tone and public information
Work proactively and independently to deeply investigate, analyze and solve problems by aligning business goals and objectives with user research, consumer feedback, data/analytics and insights to optimize for best outcomes and improve the consumer experience
Manage multiple priorities and initiatives involving multiple business units within an agile environment to efficiently meet deadlines and achieve business goals
