project44 is looking for an experienced Video Producer to spearhead the company’s priority to build a multimedia-first marketing strategy. This individual will be responsible for creating an approach and action plan to create high-value multimedia and video content highlighting software product capabilities and value, case study & customer stories, subject matter expert interviews, fire-side chats, podcasts, and more. 

This position will require an individual who is both highly strategic and enjoys leading video projects from ideation to completion—including scripting, storyboarding, recording, post-production, etc. To be clear, the responsibility will be to both wholly produce content in-house as well as manage external contractors as they produce content for us. This position will work across multiple departments, including Product Marketing, Product, Content, Brand, Solutions Engineering, Sales, external vendors, and more. This role will report to Product Marketing. 

This is a high impact role that meets a critical requirement for the business. You’ll have experience producing high-quality video from start to finish, including knowledge of:  

• Video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)  
• Cameras (video and DSLR) and lighting equipment  
• Audio equipment 
• Script writing 
• Project management 
• Managing and sourcing vendor relationships 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Research: As the driving force behind a film project, video producers often research content for the videos they produce and may also proofread, edit, and fact-check scripts. 
• Video editing: Video producers must be able to take the finished project and polish it into something that represents the company well or appeals to the target audience  
• Collaboration across key teams: You will work closely across teams from multiple departments internally and externally, from marketing and product to sourcing talent. 
• Project management: You will set the timeline for the project and assign tasks to the team, including managing third party vendors to ensure deadlines are met.
